  • Officially lost interest in the NCAA tournament...

For the first time in 44 years, I have officially lost interest in this event.

It's rigged, it's rigged, it's rigged. Force the BCS conferences to play the legitimate Mid majors and let the records speak for themselves. The whole set up is sickening to me and I'll give my ratings to CNN before I give it to the tournament.

    CNN?

So you are the one that watches them.

This x 1,000. The only things that kept me intrigued last year were UNI beating the Chickenhawks and Butler's magical performance. If GMU or VCU or someone like that goes on a run, consider me interested. Otherwise, not so much.

It's really amazing how that feeling comes over you.

Not me. I love college basketball and can't wait for the tournament. I look forward to it annually and this year is no different. There is always great basketball in this tournament, and I could care less what teams are in and what teams aren't. I'll always enjoy it. Unfortunately I have to go out of town tuesday and wednesday so won't get to see the first four games, but starting at 11 am Thursday morning my eyes will be glued to March Madness.

I've never seen so many 12, 13, 14 loss teams in this tournament. It's a freaking joke. So you've proven you can play a stronger schedule...but at what point does losing to everybody start hurting a resume?

I agree. I mean, Michigan State? Really?

Money talks. That's all there is too it. Bigger markets, more TV money to be made for the NCAA.

I'm still watching (I got some brackets to figure out!) and so I'm watching all the way.

6 Teams with 14 losses in The Tournament!

                  14 losses!

Think about that for a minute.

Exactly how many losses would WSU had to have any chance of an at-large?

                  3-4, maybe?

Truly a statement from the committee (led by Mr. Notorious BIG, Gene Smith), BCS schools rule this event and others are considered necessary evils.

Ol' Geno sure took care of his Big 10 brethren. Did he ever.

Almost reminds one of affirmative action-type agenda. 8)
Above all, make the right call.

I'm sorry, I feel like I'm non-BCS and pro mid-major more than anyone else, the system is definitely flawed, and it sucks for teams like us.

But as far as this bracket goes, the little guys got breaks. VCU and UAB getting in ahead of Va Tech and Alabama is very questionable. I'm not complaining, I'd rather have those two play than the BCS teams any day.

But as far as this bracket goes, they rewarded some little guys that I thought maybe weren't as deserving, so I'm not complaining.

BYU will be lucky to get past Wofford.

I'd just like to know -which team that was left out would be in the elite 8? I want WSU to be in every year, but besides a couple upset possibilities, these selections don't really change the ultimate outcome of the "tournament".

Tennessee? How about USC who lost to Bradley?

I'm sorry, but Va Tech and Alabama don't deserve to be in this tourney. Take a look at the numbers next to their wins:

                              Alabama:
