As a long time ticket holder and fan, I am sick of going to see my shocks play the likes of Texas Southern, East Carolina State and Tennessee Tech.

Win or lose, I'm getting to the point where I would rather lose to a Oklahoma State or Boston College than win against a North Dakota State.

Our record of 24-8 deserves a decent seed in the NIT. I just hope we don't embarrass ourselves like we did against Nevada where we let 1 player beat us. It's past time where our team has to 'man up' and play to salvage a season that should have been better.

I still like our chances of getting an NIT bid, but with MO State not getting in the dance and getting in the NIT automatically it might knock us out.

I certainly hope we at least get an NIT bid. How low has the MVC dropped. Our regular season champ is in the NIT, and our second place team has to hope for a NIT bid.

And to top it off our single bid to the NCAA tourney is a 14 seed!

It is time to find a new conference. This conference has now officially dropped about as low as you can get.

There are 32 teams that get into the NIT. There is a 0% chance we don't make the NIT. ZERO. We're a lock.

The only fun I would have with respect to the NIT this year would be one more chance to wipe the smirk off of Kyle Weems face.

But that's a stretch. We'd probably have to win more games than we are capable of to get to that point.

I don't understand how some of you still thought MSU still had a shot at getting in to the NCAA

I didn't think they had much of a chance (maybe about 10%), but most bracketologists had them in their last 4 out or next 4 out. So they were definitely on the bubble and very close.

In fact VCU getting in I think shows how close SMC and SWOMO were to getting in.

I think SWOMO deserved to be in over VCU but it was very close in my opinion (SWOMO had a regular season championship and a better rpi but VCU had some better wins in a little better conference (and some really bad losses).

To me St. Mary's and SWOMO had very similar resumes. Most Bracket experts had St. Mary's in and SWOMO out. It would have been very hard to put one in without the other.

So apparently the committee left them both out.

It is time to find a new conference. This conference has now officially dropped about as low as you can get.

Some are saying we need to get into a toucher conference. It will just make it harder to make the dance.

Maybe we need to get into a conference like the Big Sky or Big West. Those both have 9 teams, so one more in either conference would balance out the teams. The best teams in the Big Sky are Northern Colorado and Montana, while the Big West has Long Beach State. We should dominate in either of these conferences.

So if all we want is to make the dance, then we should be able to get an autobid every year in either of these conferences.
