Based on some perceived lack of progress or regression of some players this year, I was already thinking that Earl Grant = Tad Boyle.

Don't ever underestimate the value of assistant coaches. Some are great at scouting, others at in-game suggestions, some are just good at keeping the HC on an even keel.

The right group of assistants can make Jim Les a S16 coach. That actually happened at BU when a well-respected asst. came out of retirement for one year (BU's S16) and then retired again.

It would make sense with the AD having been at Bradley.
Former BU AD Ken Kavanagh has already stated that he won't be bringing Les down there. Do I totally buy it? No... but KK is usually a man of his word. Usually being the operative in that one...

I think Jans is probably ready for a HC job. If this is an opportunity he'd like to take I hope he does. Would suck not to have him on the staff but it's the business.
