What does it matter honestly? I just get sick of people coming down on the people who don't see EVERYTHING as a positive.

We finished alone in second place in the Valley by one game out of first, swept CU, swept Bradley three games (first time that's ever happened), beat the third place team two out of three times, won a record number of conference road games, pounded Northern Iowa at their place...yes the season was terrible. Bring back the Cohen, Thompson, Smithson or Turgeon days...please!

Our cupboard was freakin bare when Marshall got here and in his second year we were in the post season. Years three and four we're in the NIT. If he says we'll be in the NCAA. Best defensive team in the Valley, most athletic team in the Valley, best behaved kids in the Valley. But we totally suck. What other coach in the Valley would you want? Please don't include accomplishments as:
- finishing second in a mediocre conference that we were predicted to win by a landslide.
- sweeping a sCUm team that will be CIT bound.
- sweeping a Bradley team that finished 10th in the league.
- winning in Frostbite Falls against a depleted team without one of their key starters

We did some good things but we failed at our ultimate goals. Stop sugarcoating. It's embarrassing.

I could swear I heard this same thing about slashers during his introductory press conference. I guess that is his fixation with the combo guards.
