Murry has just vanished, Stutz is a klutz, Durley is soft when the going gets tough, no one as good as Mallett, or Weams or the skinhead looking 3-point shooter that SWOMO has.

The Shox have nice players but nothing outstanding and it shows.

There are definitely individual players out there better than anyone player WSU has, but overall, I still think we had the best top to bottom talent. They flat out underachieved.

I honestly have no idea why Toure' has been playing. I can't come up with one reason. Is he an all-star in practice?

Saying they have the best talent in a weak MVC no way implies we are full of Top 100 recruits. But I agree with the general premise that our talent level is not as good as many Shockers fans, including myself perhaps, thought it was and I am not convinced we have the best talent in the league.

To quote Coach Parcells you are what your record says you are. We are a 24-8 team in a so-so mid-major league with no good wins, at least one very bad loss and an inability to win close games.

We do not belong in the NCAA Tournament. We have done nothng to earn that privilege. Whether or not anyone can get very excited about playing in the NIT remains to be seen but right now I'm not feelin' it.

Failure to defend the high pick and roll....nothing changed in regard to this all season.

HCGM is ultimately responsible for teaching how to defend it, or hiring an assistant to teach how to defend it, or for recruiting players who can defend it the way he teaches to defend it!

All in all a disappointing season full of underachievement in spite of the "gaudy record" against a who's who list of nobodys. I won't be purchasing NIT tickets as I didn't get good value for the tickets I purchased earlier with a horrible non-con schedule, and poor performances against a pitiful conference this year.

I'll still be cheering and hoping, but I expect nothing from this group, they haven't played at home as if they owe anything to themselves, teammates, coaching staff or us "lowly" fans.

I'll be back next year hoping for better, but expecting nothing. Go Shox!

As I said a few weeks ago, in so many words, our median is as a good team. Occasionally this year we have been very good, I don't think we've had a great game this year, and we have certainly had average to below average games.

Much as it stung to lose to InSU, I will be rooting for them to win it tomorrow. I think they and the dirty birds will be on the upswing for next year, while most of the rest stay the same or will be on downward trends.
