Just love this trip. Even though my expectations are dashed a bit, it's such a fun time. Wife and 3 kids in tow for 8th year in a row I think.

Side note: I believe Bret is doing the B98 morning show on Friday from the team hotel if anyone is interested in stopping by. Should be a lot of fun.

One last thing: This is by far our best opportunity ever to win this tournament. I agree with the good doctor. I envision fellows in black and yellow climbing the ladder Sunday afternoon. How sweet that would be!

Me and the wife, meeting up with SubGod and the gf. Should be a great time. We will only be there Saturday and Sunday, as my team will be in the Sub State tournament. Hopefully we drive up with a State berth and drive home with a Dancing Ticket!

1) The Mentor and I define "STL Party" as watching game after game of College Basketball, with in depth discussion of such before, during and after.

2) After the games, motoring over to The Hill and chowing down on top shelf Italian fare.

3) Next day, repeat Steps 1 & 2.

FYI to anyone with kids under 15ish. Do not miss the City Museum. It is only a mile or so from the arena and is way cool. Difficult to describe it, but we had been to the tournament at least 3 or 4 times before we discovered this place. We will be there on Friday.

The place has a functioning ferris wheel on the roof for crying out loud. It's way cool.

Our group is +6 leaving thursday morning about 630-7a. Plus another group coming up that afternoon of +9 or +10. Shockers are going to run St.Louis!

The City Museum IS amazing!!! Actually witnessed a fight in the Ball Pit once!!

Six leaving Friday at 7am, my wife and four kids. Used to live in St. Louis and remember losing a play in game to Drake...still trying to drown that memory from my mind.

Also had a chance to shoot from half court to win a car one year, I missed but won a chevy jacket that I still own.

Will remember this tournament because it'll be the one we win and I for the first time, didn't stay at the team hotel. I won't be complaining when it happens.
