  • Good Job Shocks!

Hard to believe that you guys were only about seven baskets short of having a perfect conference record during the regular season this year. Quite an amazing feat. I would have liked to see the team hang another banner as much as anyone but I'm not going to complain about going 14-4, and only losing two nonconference games to some really tough teams.

    We could do substantially worse.

Anyway, I think next weekend is your weekend if you want it....we are due in St. Lou! See everyone there! Regardless, thanks for another great season and more great memories!

MSU will be the first MVC champion not to make the big dance in 17 years.

You're kinda confusing me with the "you guys" and "we're".

Which side of the fence are you on?

I personally think that MSU might just have a "chance" of possibly getting an at-large bid if they can manage to come in 2nd in the tournament, provided the loss is to us.

There certainly appears to be some acknowledgement that they were previously screwed and tattoed in the past. And since there has been a past trend that MVC conference winners have almost always gotten a bid, who knows what the selection committee might decide. Never count out a sympathy vote.

Creighton was not the No.1 seed. I guess he should change it to No.1 seed.

Gag me. We play like crap for 32 minutes. DWill and Kyles are the only two players who show any toughness. I thought GM was going to cry in the locker room. I'm sick of wasting potential, no MTXE, no will to win.

MSU was tough, physical and wanted to win. Hats off to them. I hope a Shocker team shows up in St. Louis that resembles that attitude.

All and All it has been a fun season! Now lets win in the Lou!
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kickass ... and I'm all out of bubblegum.

Evidently you think some magic potion is going to be poured down over their heads in the Lou. They have proved that they can not get ready for the 'big game' with the proper attitude and execution to get the job done.

MSU played us pretty much like they did the first time except they were hitting more outside shots than the first time. We have strength when we get the ball inside to our post players, and MSU pretty much kept us from getting the ball inside. I give the coach a D on game plan planning.

MSU wanted that game, a lot more than our players did, and that became more and more apparent as the game went on.

Frankly, I see us winning 2 games in St. Louis and then losing in the Championship game.

I see us winning 3 games in St Louis and going to the Big Dance! We had a bad day in Springfield and if DK has anything to say about it the rest of the team will realize they have to step it up too.

I am sorry but I don't see us beating MSU this year---I think that for us to have a chance in St. Lou, someone is going to have to upset MSU before we have to play them. It's just how I see it.

My prediction: NIT --lots of home games being a 1 or 2 seed. AND we make it to Madison Square Garden.

I will still cheer them on loudly in St. Lou---and believe!!! BUT that is my prediction. We will see.
