I think it means that it wasn't originally on the espn3 schedule but was added later.Originally posted by wsushox1
It is the same for espn2. The Valley has one "wild card game" a year on espn2. It really just means that they don't pick the teams and the time until late in the season.
The WSU@MSU was picked as this year's Valley espn2 wild card game. The other Valley games on espn2 were all chosen before the season started (except the Bracket Buster games which work kind of like the wild card game).
