At least they're not asking for the guys to compare any past team with this years team like they do on every single pregame show.

Wow, the complainers are out in force on The Locker Room show.

Find it hard to understand the where the first two callers are coming from. Totally disagree with their arguments. One wants a replay of Friday and the second wants to play YMCA rules.

Was it my imagination or were there a lot of Shocker fans disguised as empty seats during the Senior night festivities (especially in the lower bowl). Shocker fans did fine during the game but I don't think showing up 10 or 15 minutes earlier on Senior night is too much to ask.

Vernon Smith did a very nice job with the National Anthem.

Fantastic to see AE get the first game winning basket of his Shocker career.

Thank you Seniors, we will miss you and remember we do not, I repeat, we do not want to see you playing any more games in Koch Arena.

There were a lot of empty high dollar seats during the Sr. Night festivities.

Shocker fans don't know how to do a wave.

Rags made that baseline drive about 4 times tonight. He never got "stuck" on it and he never ended up out of bounds. He pulled out of it several times when the base line was blocked. I see no reason to question the last play. Ellis was the third option on the play. The first two were guarded and Ellis's defender dropped onto Rags to prevent a reverse layup. Rags saw Ellis unguarded and fed him the ball.

Oh NO! #1 - Stutz missed an unguarded bunny from 1' - in pre-game layup drills.

Oh NO! #2 - Shox started a little run early and went from trailing to a 3 point lead while getting some stops. And there were 5 other players at the scorer's table.

Oh NO! #3 - I've always supported Stutz, but one time when the Shox really needed something to happen, what happened was Stutz trotted over to the scorer's table.

Oh NO! #4 - Marshall called a time out with 1 minute remaining. Nothing good has ever come of that. This time Durley ended up forcing an off-balance, twisting fade-away from about 10' down the baseline.

How does this happen? Shox were fouling Echinique (who cannot make a FT) late in the game. He made 4 in a row. Then they fouled McDermott (who's automatic on FT's) and he missed. The "smart" move failed. The "dumbest thing you could ever do" worked.

Lucky to escape with the W after the way those games have been going at Koch.

Pretty disappointment in the crowd tonight. I'll admit I had an uneasy feeling throughout, especially late, when we just never took advantage of opportunities. I honestly didn't think we would win the game inside of 2 minutes.

Very happy though. Nothing better than sticking it to the sCUmmies at the last second.

AE is well-deserving of that one. Couldn't have happened to a better person.
Joe-Rags needs to be playing more and fouling less. He was a stud tonight.
Durley was the usual tough as nails.

Lots of positives, although one glaring negative:

0-6 from the field. He's now 3-20 in his last two games. He had 3 first half TO's. I dunno what he ended up with.

I just don't understand why he plays as many minutes as he does. He's struggling and he has already blown games late. I was surprised that he was kept in their in the final 2 minutes after he was yanked for the VCU game. He's just one guy out there that I simply get balls-out nervous when he's in there, especially at crunch time. The freshman years were long ago. He's not the same. Please stop acting like he is. Another thing. TM was getting completely burnt every time off the dribble. EVERY time.

Did I mention how good it feels to bury Echinwiqueiuaweique, McWhiner, and the rest of the sCUmmies at the last second? :clap: :clap: :clap:

Maybe this will give us enough of a boost to still turn it into a special season. Winning in Springfield would be the start of that.

Right on cue, Mike identified him as DOFO and guess what? DOFO needed to turn his radio down....it took about 3 attempts (at least) to get DOFO on the line.

Unmistakably DOFO'esque. He wanted to know if WSU won Saturday, would they cut down the nets.....
