I hope on Senior night the guys can unearth some way to overcome the Player of the Year, the 2 best big men in the league, the Newcomer of the Year, the Freshman of the Year, 3-4 first or second team All Valley players, the best PG in the league, a freshman All America and perhaps the FOY in all of D1 (a player far better than Harrison Barnes, for example) as well as a coach who with his BCS experience and record of consistent top 2 finishes in whatever league he is dominating at the time is certain to string together multiple final four runs when he combines his current crop of NBA'ers with the incoming best recruiting class of all time.

It is a daunting task to say the least.

I have never really cared for Creighton going back to the late 80s, whether they were good or not (at the time mostly not).

But since they have embraced the waste of space, the entire program...coaches, players, boosters, staff and fans alike....all need to be administered a twice or even thrice annual colonoscopy at the hands of our team and staff.

Rarely will you find a more personal and vicious attack on someone without one shred of evidence, with the only goal to try and slander someone they don't like.

I will hope for no physical harm to come to any of their players. Outside of that, anything bad that happens to any and all associated with that program will be celebrated, by me, with gusto.

I look forward to drinking deeply from the Chalice of Victory, then when empty, placing it directly and firmly up the backside of Scoop Matilda.

I like how Matty P says Marshall has tried to get out of Wichita every year but he can't because his interview skills suck.

1) Matty P is going to say "I told you so" after Marshall leaves, even if it is 5 years from now.
2) To me, Marshall seems like the type who would be good at interviews.

It is funny that the same rumors that scoop Matilda makes about others apply to himself. See the following examples....

A woman asks if we could level the playing field with Creighton by having a priest, rabbi or pastor on the bench with us.

Agreed. I wanted to offer a similar take, but having recently been banned from the site, and after the majority of my FACTUAL responses to Scoop's wild charges against our Coach were deleted, signing up again just didn't seem worth it.

I'm glad you like your coach but facts are facts. I talk to coaches who know what is going on in their profession. Marshall has tried to get out every offseason and has failed because he can not interview.

Marshall is hated by the Valley. He threatened a prominent broadcaster before a game because he dared to speak ill of him publicly. Marshall's wife has hunted for me and Travis Justice at games.

I'm not making stuff up. I have never been accused of doing that. My opinions aren't always popular but I do not misquote people. I trust the people that I talk to on a daily basis from the 3 conferences that I cover.

You can believe what you want ... and yes, I hate Gregg Marshall ... for MANY, MANY reasons.

Funny how "talking to 3rd party indiviuals" is how "facts" become facts.

If someone is registered (I wouldn't take the time -- Shockerfever or KCShox maybe) and tear that post apart. Oh, and the "I'm not making stuff up" he's just repeating what he was told, you know, FACTS!

Edit: I was at the coaches show last night. I saw quite a few Shocker fans and heard several callers question Coach Marshall, he listened, acknowledged their take and defended his. I have also had the PLEASURE of dealing with Coach Marshall and his wife outside of WSU and basketball, and can state without a doubt that they are a pleasure to talk to, relate to, and are people of thier word.
