Who's going to Springfield?

Any recommendations on restaurants in Springfield? I would like to partake in a tasty meal after devouring the Bears on Saturday, and I have never been to Springfield.

Lamberts is at Hwy 65 and CC just south of Springfield. Wear a helmet...they throw rolls at you there. It's a really fun place.

If you like steak and tamales go to Doe's Eat Place. You can buy steak for 1 or for 2 etc.

Steak and Shake's are all over town

There is another steak house called The Flame that's great near downtown.

Whole Hog across from Bass Pro is the best BBQ in town

Hemmingways in Bass Pro has all you can eat crab legs for $22 and a great buffet.

Or you can come to my house for balony and cheese sandwich's.

Other than that we've got all of the chains.

BTW, if you order 2 buffets at Shoney's this week you receive 2 tickets to Saturday's game.......seriously

I have heard about the place that throws rolls, which sounds like fun. Just as long as they are not throwing rolls Randy Johnson style, due to an overabundance of yellow flair.

I would guess that more Wichitans (tourist) eat there than locals. They really have great food if you like country cooking and their prices are very reasonable.

There are a couple of Japanese steakhouse's here also that are inexpensive and very good.

It does that because your restaurant, Fudd ruckers, has a series of letters that meet the wildcard rules on anything starting with "f" and ending with "ckers". The AI in the system isn't that good... :)

Lambert's is fun, reasonably priced with huge portions, and decent country cooking. They get very crowded, though. Last summer we pulled in at about 10:45 and were seated pretty quickly. By the time we left about 11:30 the wait was easily 30 minutes. Later on it can get to over an hour.
