That place rocked. Halftime was moving. The game dramatic. I thought there was supposed to be a happy ending.

Had a great time but would have loved to have chucked a bratwurst at those officials at the end of the game.
I believe something like this actually happened several years ago; IIRC, someone tossed a weenie from the cheap seats. :D

P.S. The crowd tonight was simply superb! :good: :good:

Student dance was awesome; just needs to spread to the whole section.

          Crowd rocked; team did not.

Yes, +1 for the student section dance. I don't know how they got it organized, but they did a great job!

Everything about Koch looked great on TV tonight. The place looked packed to the rafters and the colors really stood oujt. The crowd was loud, the music rocked, the cheer leaders looked sweet, and the scaning TV scenes of the fans and the students were great. :yahoo:

That would be fastbow, who basically claimed the student section was incapable of being organized and halfway decent.

Yeah, I'm upset about that. I got there at 3:30, ran to get seats for my friends and I, and the dancers kicked me out of them. They didn't have the seats marked or anything. Oh well.

If I'd known I was gonna get 7th row seats no matter what, I'd have stayed home and done laundry until 4:20.

BTW: the event was organized by the SAC, not the much-vaunted greek system. SAC, I'll give props to. Those guys are pretty good at using facebook to set stuff up. Aside from facebook, I dunno how they do it, but their events are well-attended, fun, and attract a diverse group of students. Heck, I was invited to the dance thing, but since I can't dance and didn't want to invest an evening in it, I didn't go.

I still stand by my comments about the greek system.

I'll take my lumps. The students got "organized" for one game. If I were a betting man, I'd bet money the student section will be back to "normal" for Creighton. ESPN tends to bring out the best in a venue. But what I won't take is that the student section can't be halfway decent. The student section is, nine times out of ten, a great group. Want to point fingers for a dead crowd? Who isn't on their feet? Who isn't cheering for every possession? I know my opinions piss a lot of you off, but frankly, I don't care. I know that the students do a good job. You guys just have a serious double case of inferiority and keeping up with the Jonses.

Still, I hope you guys all got what you wanted. Me, I got what I wanted: a loud, angry crowd. Did your precious little dance have any effect on the game?

The ones all by three points? There's a million things you can point to turn a three-point loss into a win.

MSU: 52% FT, 27% vs. 50% from three, 64 vs. 70 possessions... I could go on...

UNI: outrebounded by one, 11 vs. 6 TOs, 20 vs. 13 PFs, and yet we still outplayed them until the end.

SIU: SNOWSTORM. 20% from three, 36% overall. Again, we had them beat until the end.

This team's killer instinct is a bigger issue than the crowd, along with the myriad problems we cover every game.

Agreed, which is why your original question was unnecessary. The "precious little dance" adds to the atmosphere of the place and it looks good on tv and to everybody else. And anything that makes WSU look good is a good thing.

We'll agree to disagree. I think it smacks of me-too-ism in a place that should be a national leader, not a follower of a traditionless program like UNI. But to each their own.

in terms of the OVERALL crowd, the first of rodriguezs' first two free throws was the loudest i've heard it since iowa,'80.I realize it was just one moment, but my ears were ringing.
