  • Is a spectacular crowd / student section possible friday?

Big game, at home, on national tv, ncaa tournament implications on the line. I'm not asking for a white out, black out or blue out but come on, I hope somebody is planning something for this. Our team deserves it!

Weather is going to be good, might come early and tailgate in the parking lot just to get started the right way.

I'd like to see them all wear skull caps, wrap around shades and lots of shocker hand gestures. That would be different.

No matter the weather or national TV exposure, we'll most likely still have empty seats up in the top of the north end.

Gotta admit - that one made me laugh out loud.

I sit in the student section and would love to see the whole arena, student section or not, pumped and noisy as much as possible! We may not be playing George Mason, but Friday is a vital game!
"Ralph Miller was one of the finest coaches in the history of intercollegiate basketball. His teams were always fundamentally sound, team oriented, well conditioned, and ran both their offense and defense with great patience. I know of no coach whose teams competed against his, whether it be at Wichita State, Iowa, or Oregon State, who did not have great respect for him."—John Wooden

                    yes.

Ton's of people come out of the woodwork for nationally televised games.

Barring a Bradley gameplan from the Rams, this game should be loud and fun.

Will they arrest you for drinking beer in the parking lot prior to the game or do I have to go to the baseball stadium and load up, then attempt to walk across campus to get into the arena?

Tail gated in the parking lot. Had just put the meat on grill when the black and white and pulled up and made us pour our beers out on the pavement. By that time, I had three already so I wasn't too thirsty. However, I was very hungry and was in a hurry to throw down at least one hot dog before being forced to snuff the grill. I jammed a 300 degree brat wurst in my mouth and scalded my tongue and the roof of my mouth....Ah the memories!

Had a great time but would have loved to have chucked a bratwurst at those officials at the end of the game.

+1. Students were great tonight. Crowd was great tonight. Music was good and loud.

I am not oblivious to the fact that the game was played at a good pace and not the typical grab and hold of our crappy conference, but still it escapes me why that can't happen more often.

The dance was good....Quiet Riot was good.....everything except the final score.
