Of course. And meanwhile, the tradition of WSU players/coaches/staff not realizing how good they have it continues.

I watched some of TAMU and Colorado game. I must admit the game was played before the quietest 7,157 folks ever.

Of course, it has been so long, since Colorado had a winning stretch, the fans might be out of practice.

marshall was kind of complaining on post game show that it was another game that not many fans came to. I actually thought it was a pretty good showing by the fans. Only major gap in seats was on the student section area.

I could have sworn he prefaced this comment by saying how bad the weather was.

The attendance at the UNC-Duke game last night from their box score:

                Attendance: 9,314

Of Course that is a sell out at Duke, that is all it holds.

He did make that preface and was very clear about the weather being a big factor.

College basketball attendance is down all over the country. Its a disturbing trend. To have our building full every game (on nights without blizzards) given the economy of the last several years speaks volumes about our fan base.

The attendance, facilities, mode of travel, coach's pay scale, tell me again why WSU is mid-major? Ohhhh yeah conference, scheduling & sporadic NCAA appearances, I forgot.
Sometimes I'm one of those negative guys, sometimes positive. I just think WSU has the potential to dominate the current situation.

baylor canceled classes at 11:30 am due to the weather. cant say for sure how much it impacted the crowd for the game though.
