At this point Ill be happy if we don't fall flat on our face, lose the rest of our games, and wind up in the CBI or some other post season tournament for the also-rans.

Lets just win one game... the next one, and see where we are.

Losing at home to a RPI 200+ team that's not at full strength (in February no less!) should be automatic elimination from the NCAA tournament. That leaves a team vulnerable to about 50 other teams claiming they would have had a better chance at winning a game in the tourney than WSU.

This team has demonstrated that they don't deserve an at-large. Last year it took WSU two road losses to bad teams to kill any chance of an NCAA bide. This year a home loss to a bad team should be all that's needed.

WSU is starting to look like MSU when Hinson was coaching there.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.

Murry has no buisness at all bringing the ball upcourt in a last possession situation ...NONE AT ALL. He is not fast enough, cant dribble well enough, cannot find an open player or much of anything other than flounder around and either fumble it away or pass it one foot away after hes allready dribbled it to the sidelined and pinned himself......Coach should know that ....absolutely pathetic
1/16/2010 on the "Screw at the Q" HCGM... " Ive never seen a foul parade like that...If you would of let me know it was going to be a foul parade I would of brought a different team" .... "dont talk to me about fouls....Ive got to go back and look at some tape... I have some thoughts but I need to look at the tape and then I will have something very strong to say"

Pretty difficult to argue against Heidi Klum.

Why doesn't Toure seem to want to take the last shot? I remember a 3 pointer to beat Missouri State and the three in STL against Creighton. I agree he shouldn't bring it up, but if he does, why doesn't he just take the shot? I guess this is only something he could answer, but has he lost that much confidence from his Freshman Year?

                    Murry

I agree that Murry isn't the guy we want to see bringing it up, Shokk, but what makes you think Marshall does either at this point? As I said previously, the opponents have something to say about things, too, and maybe SIU was told to deny the inbounds pass to anyone else.

I don't know that, obviously, but it wouldn't surprise me to learn that it's true. Conference teams scout each other pretty well, and WSU's last possession against Missouri State may not exactly be our own little secret.

I'm gonna laugh win Toure drains the game winner in the conference tournament -- putting us in the NCAAs.

If that happens I'll probably be crying (tears of joy of course).

Considering he's choked 3 (?) times already, the percentages have to be moving in his favor. Maybe that's Marshall's strategy, keep giving him the ball at the end of games and he's eventually going to do something good.

Why? Because he is one of our worst three point shooters. He's around 30%. Hell JT and Stutz have better numbers than him.

Maybe he got a big head after his freshman year and has never been the same. Maybe when he was trying to put more arc on his shot after his freshman year things changed. I dunno what it is but he's definitely not the same player. It's too bad Marshall hasn't realized this as well.

What baffles me is that 3 end game situations he has succumbed to the pressure and yet Marshall continues to have him out there. And then you have somebody else like DWill who makes a mistake and then he's benched the rest of the game or entire games. Absolutely mind-blowing.
