At large chances? The one thing we had going for us were no bad losses. We can no longer say that. That was a horrid game to watch. They didn't seem like they really wanted it. There's no excuse for how last night went and I'm thankful that I didn't have my ticket and didn't make the drive in this weather. I probably would have ended up wrapped around a tree or something had I gone.

Missouri State can't be too confident right now. Losing 3 of last 6 and 2 of last 3. UNI has lost their last 2. Evansville is playing better but they have holes.

There are no paper champions. At this point in the season teams have to put up, or shut up. Last night the Shockers were muzzled pretty good by a play-in team. Not the kind of performance one sees from a championship caliber team during the 14th game of an 18-game conference season.

This team is not very tough. Although they are very good, the expectations SN, other fans, and the team themselves have don't match their DNA at this point. Although I will root for them til the end, I am also a realist. I'm just not convinced they have a sustained ability to match their talent with toughness and focus.
