I predict that Chris Lowrey will insert himself into the starting line-up in a desperation move. Unfortunately he’ll have to pull himself before the fist TV timeout because he’ll have four fouls. Later, after two more players leave the team during halftime, he will have no choice but to put himself back in the game only to foul out before the clock strikes 19. Having lost interest midway through the second half he’ll place a call to Jankovich asking him if he was going to use Ladders.com or CareerBuilder.com. Jank tells him he’s using CareerBuilder because he likes the monkeys.

I predict that as Wichita wakes up on game day to a winter storm that will assault the city, that there will be at least 8000 fans in attendance. SIU fans can't be bothered to make it to a shiny new arena to watch this hapless bunch.
But Shocker fans will make it to the old Roundhouse to support the student athletes. Those WSU fans will likely not boo a fallen player. Those fans will cheer the efforts of end-of-the-bench players. But somehow some people throughout the Valley will have a negative remark for those Shockers.

The rental I have is worthless in snow.

After getting t-boned in the snow going to a basketball game, I've decided not to drive if the snowfall is anywhere close to what's being predicted. The way it drifts around my house, I'm going to be really happy if I can make it all the way to my house after I get off work.

Wounded animals can be dangerous. However, with SIU the question is are they simply wounded or are they mortally wounded.

I hope the Shocks come out focused and leave no doubt in this one. Crowd will no doubt be diminished by the weather.

Hopefully, they will encourage everyone to move down and fill in the lower seats.
