Now that you don't have to play Nebraska and Colorado in future years, why don't both of your Men's Basketball programs do something exotic, such as schedule WSU in a series of games that include home and home and games in Kansas City and INTRUST Bank Arena?

Now is the time to act. It will be good for the State of Kansas, it will save money for all programs travel budgets, and it will be especially good for WSU's RPI.

So, do your step-brother a favor and let's get this going! Thanks. :wsu_posters:

Here we go again....LOL. Kind of preaching to the choir though.

Losing CU and NU actually makes it more difficult for WSU to get them on their schedule.

Now the Big 12 season is 16 games. Two times against each team in their divisions (10 games) and one game against those in the oppposite division (Six games).

The New Big 8/10/12 will have a full round-robin, so there will be 18 conference games.

The only way we see WSU vs the other D1 schools is if someone in Topeka makes it happen

Perception and reality are often two different things. The only way to keep the perception in place is not to let reality get in the way. Thus don't schedule the other team and the perception of superiority, the perception of this big gap in quality, is never put at risk.

The alumni of those schools do not want any change in perception.

School. The alumni at Kansas want to maintain that perception.

The alumni at K-State just don't want to lose.

I had hoped that the scrimmages between WSU and KSU might lead to a better relationship. KSU's refusal to scrimmage this year tells me that's probably not going to happen.
