Wichita State: I still maintain that a really tough out in the NCAA tournament will be Wichita State. The Shockers are experienced and talented and have multiple weapons. And they have size, which usually differentiates the little guy from the big guy. Wichita State is 5-0 on the road in the Missouri Valley Conference and is led by versatile big man J.T. Durley, super athletic guard David Kyles and dynamic scorer Toure' Murry (who just passed the 1,000-point mark for his career). Keep up with the Shockers. They can play.

The Shocks just need to make sure we get to the Dance so that we can make a prophet out of JB.

Nice find. I have heard Jay Bilas compliment the Shockers several times on TV this year. We have passed his eye test. It's great pub for WSU.

This is the most accidental Captain Obvious quote ever. It isnt meant the way it reads, which makes it awesome.

                  Lawyered!

Maui at the beginning of the year is paying dividends, at least from a recognition point of view.

                      Hey Geniuses,

I think Bilas was referring to the BCS conferences vs. everyone else.

Few mid-major teams have the size that WSU has. Most BCS teams don't have the size we have

                      6'7"
                      6'8"
                      6"9"
                      7'0"

That's a pretty healthy frontline rotation.

Bilas was in Maui, i think this creates a unique perspective for him. Go Shocks!

I couldn't bring myself to watch the main ESPN guys because 1) my disappointment in us and 2) they always tend to piss me off. I ususally watch ESPN II or ESPN U where Gottlieb is.

So, did Jay bring love for the little guys or defend the right of every BCS team to be in the tournament.

He defended the teams that deserved to be in the tournament, and went after the comittee on some of their decisions.

                              I have respect for him.

He went after UAB and VCU saying they didn't deserve a bid, and he might be right about that.
The mountains are calling, and I must go.
