“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'”
Good to see us bolstering our non-con with some meat and potatoes, if you will. Coupled with Oregon, the season is shaping up to be a a challenging and potentially rewarding one.
Unless I'm mistaken, this means that we've accumulated the following opponents for next March:
Arizona
Hawaii
Oregon
Tulane
Am I missing any others that are confirmed? Sprinkle in our usual midweek contests against the Big XII teams and that should be a solid SoS foundation for the non-conference.
I don't think Tulane was very good last year. Hopefully, that'll change this year.
I too am impressed with the increase scheduling power. I think we finally realized a 40-win season just won't cut it anymore if it's just against patsies.
Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

The schedule looks very good. Ironically enough while we travel to New Orleans to play Tulane we also play the University of New Orleans in Dallas (as well as Dallas Baptist and Tex-Arlington).
