I only got to watch about the three middle innings but there will be more pressure to move runners along rather than trying to punch it out of the park. The infield looked good except on a play where runners were on 1st and 2nd and, hold onto your hats, the batter laid down a decent bunt towards 1st, the 1st baseman fielded the ball and tried to throw the runner out at 3rd who was already starting his slide. Beautiful day to catch some baseball. And by the way the players they sent into the stands to retrieve the foul balls all looked to be about 12 years old. I mean this were young looking young men. I'm sure its not that I am so much older now. -
Anyone know why is Gene limping?Let's hope he can hit a D-1 Curve ball!
