Wow, this is just horrendous. Why did that tire have to blow right when the semi was passing.......makes me sick thinking about it.

    My prayers with the family.
The mountains are calling, and I must go.

Absolutely devastating news. It definitely sunk my day when I found out about it this morning.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Caster family, his friends, the coaches and team, and us as a fanbase.

            So young. Just downright awful.

Played ball with Mitchell since grade school. Played together on our high school basketball team. Great kid who had everything going for him. Just tears me up inside to think that this has happened. Still don't think it'll actually hit me until the funeral. Just a sad sad day for Goddard, WSU, city of Wichita, and anyone that knew him. Let's all focus on all the positives he brought to all our lives... he'd want it that way.

Just too sad for words. I'm reminded again of how fragile life is. Embrace each day and take the wins and loses in stride. Prayers for the Caster family.

The memorial service was very nice. There was a great turn-out, his teammates told some good stories about Mitch, they showed pictures of Mitch on the video board and the balloon release was a nice ending.

Life can be so short and lost without any warning. It is particularly disturbing when the young are lost, with so many possibilities awaiting.

I can not fathom the grief their family has endured.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends.
Above all, make the right call.
