Carl is one of nicest and most genuine human beings to walk this earth. He was also one helluva athlete, not just baseball. He probably could've went D1 in more than one sport. WSU was truly blessed to have him wear the black & gold.

Carl Hall, a former Shocker baseball player and Valley Player of the Year, was flown to the Saint Francis hospital in critical condition Saturday afternoon.

Kingman County authorities tell us Hall was in the car with his daughter. They were on K-42 and Southeast 70th Avenue. Authorities say the car suddenly accelerated when the cruise control was turned off, causing the vehicle to roll.

As of Sunday afternoon, Hall has been upgraded to serious condition. No word on if his daughter was also injured.
