Does anyone know why Joe's son went to Georgia Tech instead of WSU? (see end of story on OU)

He wanted a chance to go to the CWS?

It wasn't because of fan support.

WSU averaged 3653 per game in 2010 (#1 among northern teams and #10 overall) vs. 1887 per game for Georgia Tech (#32).

Would Joe Carter himself come to WSU now? No.

Why do you think Joe would come to WSU during the infancy of a restarted program but no way would he come now that we have been a perrenial winner for 33 years and have one of the best facilities and programs in the country. Some major inferiority complexes going on here lately.

Joe came to WSU on a football scholarship. Since we don't have football today, who knows if he would come or not.

uh.......he is not listed on the 2010 GT roster

              but found this

was only 2nd team EKL his senior season. granted that might not mean to much but I believe he was just so so coming out and his name got him there more than anything. I'm wondering if he has left the team, can't figure out why he wasn't showing up on the 2010 roster but i could find a profile on him.

Maybe because he red-shirted his freshman year at Georgia Tech.

I don't think so, this would be his sophomore year in shool and red shirt freshman year.

I also don't see him listed on their summer assignments list

It might be difficult to play in the shadow of your dad who is a Shocker legend. Same thing with Cheese Johnson's kid...
