1-2 at Evansville will give the Shocks the tiebreaker.

To take it outright, yes. 2 out of 3 would give us a tie, with us winning the tiebreaker for the No.1 seed.


This outcome makes it sting even more. If we sweep like we should have done, then all Evansville had to do was take 1 next weekend, which is MUCH more realistic.

Just got back home and was very disappointed to see the score. I guess our changes this post season rely strictly on Kelley's, Cooper's, and Lowell's shoulders.

Way to ruin what should have been an awesome weekend with Kelley's & Cooper's dominating pitching performances.

I broke away after the 5th, just checked the box score and seeing lowell throw two innings and 4 K's is very encouraging. Maybe he can get 3 innings in next weekend and be good for a 5 inning start come MVC tourney. The shox will NEED him to start a game in the tourney for any hope.

Also good to see Springer get a hit at the end. Shox need him going strong come tourney time as well.

Shocks miss a great opportunity to gain ground in ILS.

Pretty disappointing performance especially after Friday and Saturday.

As others have pointed out we just haven't developed much depth this year and that doesn't bode well for post season success.
