For now it looks like the rain has moved on to the NE and the Shocks should be able to get this afternoon's game in, although the turf will no doubt be a little damp.

Hopefully, TK will be on his game today. I would like to seem him be more effective with the leadoff batters today than he has been, although he has done a good job not letting that hurt him too much so far. But if you keep playing with fire you're bound to get burned eventually.

They said they were gonna take over the Valley after 03. Since then, I believe they are something like 5-20 against us with zero NCAA appearances.

Very solid game by the Shocks today.

Tim Kelley was outstanding even if it was against the Bad News Bares.

The Shocks hit a lot of balls on the nose today although Preston and Nate did not have good days at the plate. Most every other Shocker was pretty solid.

Kudos to Travis Bennett for getting a couple of big hits in his first start against lefties. His RBI single in the 8th was really nice because he directed it right through a hole vacated by the Bears SS.

Shocks did not have to do too much defensively today because TK was in such control. Nate Goro made an outstanding catch of a foul pop on the 1st batter of the game. Beyond that it was pretty much either a strike out or a routine play.

How about Ryan Jones for the second weekend in a row scoring from 2nd base on a wild pitch.
