I said it last week and I'll say it again: Jordan Cooper is CLEARLY the best pitcher in the MVC.

I don't buy into the BK "tone-setting" stuff, but starting the weekend with a "W" is always good.

Solid game, Shocks!! Not only typical Coop pitching, but the pen did well. We were hitting all game and our situation hitting struck gold in the second half of the game.

The Shocks were expected to win this game and did. Now comes the real test in the next two games. Let's also hope the Redbirds stumble some this weekend.
