To now say that midweek games are just "glorified scrimmages" is an insult to the game and the fans. You should try winning every time you step onto the field.

It's not like winning the conference will solidify our shot into an NCAA at-large.

We are now 4-15 against ORU since 2002. What's really bad about this year is that Missouri St is 3-0 against ORU this year beating them 13-3, 5-1, (both at ORU), and 15-1 in Springfield.

And Mike says now the losing streak to these guys reaches 6 in a row. I LOVE IT!

There is a whole generation of kids that hasn't seen WSU beat ORU.

That is actually a pretty funny line.

There were a few positives from tonight. First, Springer continues his power hitting with another home run (Harbutz also continues to surprise with his 4th homer).

Second, It is great seeing McKeever ptich so well again. He threw 1 and 1/3 very nice innings.

And Cobey Guy really looked like a closer tonight, striking out the side in the bottom of the ninth.

We got to see 9 shocker pitchers tonight. When is the last time that happened? And for the most part, most of them pitched okay against a very good hitting ORU team.

I was waiting for someone to pump a little shine into all this.

It's funny though how other sunshine pumpers (shocker3 as an example) have stayed clear since the loss though. :roll:

Fever- I am sorry to disappoint you, but I am out of town this week and I did not get to drive to Wichita to see Tuesday night's game.

I will however be in Omaha this weekend for Saturday and Sunday's games.

I never comment on Shocker baseball games that I don't see in person (I usually don't miss seeing very many).

All I know about the game is what I have read on-line.

Sorry. I'm not able to attend all 56 games this year. I'm a horrible Shocker fan.

I think it's pretty obvious why they are losing. To the Pumpers though, we're just 9 wins away from Omaha !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111111

Everyone, I'm getting tired of the "sunshine pumpers" line. Everyone on here has a right to be positive or negative. I doubt anyone would disagree with the statement that this season's performance has been disappointing, but in debating said performance on the field, stick to that and please avoid directing excessive barbs at each other.
