Hard to say, 1972.

Remember, Springer (like all jucos) was draft eligible every year, and he put up pretty impressive numbers last season, too, so his WSU performance may or may not attract that much additional attention.

True that, although the JUCO numbers were put up against JUCO pitching.

Could be he doesn't have the kind of power potential MLB teams are looking for, especially for a player that has DH'd quite a bit.
