Very good win for the Shocks. A lot of lead off hitters reached for ILS but Kelley and Hoch (especially Kelley) stayed composed and mentally tough and battled through each inning.
Shocks took advantage of their opportunities late to pull out the badly needed win.
1 run total allowed in Games 1 and 3 and 18 in the 2nd game run-rule. Just shows how awful we were on the mound in Game 2.
Sure would be nice to get Charley back and it would also be nice if a couple of the other guys could step up.
Hopefully, this will put the Shocks in the right frame of mind for a strong finish.

What a bunch of sunshine pumpers. The sky is falling and you SP'ers can't see the forest for the trees. You can't even hear the tree falling even if there is no one there to hear it. This was just an anomolie to get your hopes up only to be dashed. You sunshine pumpers deserve everything you get.

My previous post was for our resident Nancy Boys and they know who they are. This is the 2nd outing Tim Kelly has started out a little shakey and stayed in and seemed to get stronger the longer he pitched. How many times in the past have we had an opposing pitcher on the ropes only to let him hang around and then really make us pay in later innings. Not advocating TK continue doing it this way but it works. I have to go outside now and pump a little sunshine.
