    Shockkansas/KevKan, serious question:

What are K-State plans in case of Big XII implosion with Big 10, SEC, Pac 10 expansion? What happens if KU is chosen for Big 10 along with UNL and missourah? Does K-State move to the Mountain West, or WAC, or what? Granted, you might have more opportunities than WSU, but you have a lot more to lose as well. Just curious as to what the mindset is for kitty fans...

I'll bite, shock-a-lips, here I am. I'm a "troll", and yet, I'm not near as hard on the shocks as many of the regular posters on here, and yet, because my first rooting interest is for the cats, I'm a troll?

If I was trolling, and flaming on this board, don't you think I would have been all over todays bludgeoning by ISU? It makes me sick that some people on here call themselves fans, but continually bash 18-20 year old kids, who are full time students in addition to some 40 odd hours a week of baseball, or baseball related activities. If they ran into one of those players would they call them pathetic to their face? How about telling their parents their son is pathetic? Many of the Shocker players are my friends, and I root for them. And when they don't do well, I don't disparage them. But, again, because I am first of all a KSU fan....btw shock-a-lips, what was it you wanted?

How can you tell that WSU > KSU? Kitten fans are insecure and have to invade the WSU message boards when they aren't even playing to display their inferiority complex. And yet, no WSU fan goes to the KSU boards because we are too high for them. That's why Duke fans don't go to UNC Asheville boards when they play in basketball, but vice versa. This is what you're seeing here.

And it is hilarious to watch!

Keep owning yourselves, Kitten fans! Kitten State University, the owners of ONE NCAA appearance in their 100 year history. LMFAO!!!

          ... No really, deuces.

I noticed kevkan ignored my post calling him a hypocrite.

            The truth does indeed sting.

True indeed. However, where am I going to get a K-Stater's perspective as I don't post on any K-State board... I figured I'd grab your attention on Shockernet.

Well, as I said this topic is not baseball related in the least. But, there is no action on shockernet, so...

The BCS reallignment is so sketchy it is really not worth getting too excited about. Besides, what are we going to do? That said, I hope that the Big 12 will survive with some new members. I have no idea what you read to give you some hope for KU, but everything I have seen has KU in the same boat as KSU. My hope is that the new Big 12 or 8 would be: within the same region; competitive at both football and basketball; have similar enrollment, seating, tv numbers; and have some natural rivalries.

For a Shocker slant, just think how the Shocks might be sitting if they had a football team. What a perfect time for a program such as WSU. BCS teams are paying a million dollars for teams like WSU to travel to a large stadiums. Two/three of those would come in handy. More importantly, opportunities will exist to escape the MVC which has become (generally speaking) a one bid league. Not having football negates almost all opportunities that may present themselves.

Thank Lew Perkins... or hope Kharma comes back and bites him.
