I should rephrase that, terrible as in he almost seemed to be trying to hug the line with his bunts. Dude it's a sacrifice, doesn't need to be perfect, just get it down!

With that said he didn't strike out and got a lucky hit, so I should just shut my mouth.

started out a pretty nice day for a game then quickly turned south. Weather wise and playing wise.

Glad we got the W but at the same time I'm SMH

Ummm, it hasn't been called yet.

Excellent showing by Sossamon. If we can hang on (or if mother nature finishes this one off), this is a big win. Without doublechecking I am certain it would be our largest successful comeback of the season.

Our defense is infinitely better with Baez on the bench. The one dumb play in the field today was TK fudging up a safety squeeze...other than that, pretty solid again. Coy had a couple terrific digs at first.

Our tenacity stayed at a high level all game. Normally, we get to pitchers early (if at all) and then the hitters take a snooze from the fourth inning on. We did an excellent job of staying after it and chasing their starter in the sixth.
