I'm not holding my breath, but it would be wonderful if McKeever can contribute something from the pen down the stretch.

I'll also add that while I have been highly critical of Logan Hoch this year (deservedly so), he looked outstanding on Tuesday. He hit 91 on the guns and was regularly between 88-90. That's about 3-4 mph better than he's been all season, and you could tell it enhanced his offspeed stuff tremendously. I think his arm is finally getting right.

This weekend, I want to see the following guys come on in relief as the go-to options:

Guy
Johnson
Hoch
McKeever (what the hell, why not)

I will pull my hair out if Muncrief or McGreevy are brought in with the game on the line.

I still stubbornly believe that we have a strong finish in us. Need to start with a sweep against a down SJSU squad.

I just want to see people play hard. Tell me why walker davidson hasn't gotten a real start all season, regardless of how many times Willy B Chokes. His average has been steadily falling the longer the year has went on and he is not half as solid as Walker is in the field. Get him in there!
Also as of right now Eric and Nate are struggling a little bit. Tell me why last years conference tournament MVP is not Getting any time. Ryan Engrave might be the best hitter on the team next to springer. But Gene just wont put him in at all this year. We're about to see one of the best hitters to come through this school in a while transfer. Thanks Gene your doing a fine job

I also wonder why Engrav doesn't get more ABs. I know Gene doesn''t like his laid back style but the guy can hit. DH him sometimes!

I would love to see Bascue, Coy, and Goro stats if they had over 100 at bats. They have 177 less at bats than the players they play behind. Check the team stats. Bascue has only 30+ at bats. How many more games do you think we would have won. There must be a reason, are they that bad on defense. Our defense is already the worst in the valley. With 60+ errors. Bascue stats are unblievable with no errors.

lol... No i'm not his mother or girlfriend. And no i didn't say that he was the best hitter on the team, but that he might be. however, I am very close to the team and I do know that Engrave is not Gene's favorite by any means. I'm a firm believer of the best players should play, and favoritism is not acceptable. Like how Baez, Grimes, and Hall are some of genes favorites. Granted Grimes is looking alot better. And hall is amazing out in Center Field. But this team is way to deep to allow someone to go on a 2-26 slump. get them out let them do some soul searching and get them back. but Engrave does need some AB's the third base position is not out most solid right now.
