Ah, asking to prove the negative. Brilliant argument.

I do not have any personal knowledge that the moon is not made of cheese.

I know why you think JT should be gone.

Why should it be Sexton's responsibility and not Stephenson?
You've got to be fishing at this point. But I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that you really don't understand and take a nibble.

Nor do you or I have any personal knowledge of an AD getting involved or not getting involved in asking for the discharge of an assistant coach. However, I do have personal knowledge of a VP and CEO asking for the discharge of a Director level employee. Making an assumption that an athletic department is run somewhat similar to the corporate world, I can surmise that an AD has indeed asked for the discharge of an athletic department employee that doesn't report directly to the AD.

It shouldn't be Sexton's responsibility. However, because of the my perception regarding Gene's loyalty attributes, I think Gene will never pull the trigger on JT. He should, but I don't think he will. Therefore, it might be necessary for ADES to get involved in looking at an objective review of JT's performance and then "help" Gene in making a correct decision.

I voted for None of them. But those of you who think that JT should be "discharged" should just simply call Gene and tell him what you think.
Doesn't Gene have a show tonight...that could be interesting.

I voted all should go, here's why.

It is obvious the program is in decline. The proof is the teams recent records and apathy (otherwise this topic wouldn't keep coming up).

However, what really forges my opinion is when the whole staff took off for OU, only to come back because OU didn't have their house in order. Not because they knew WSU was where they really belonged. Also, this shows if one goes, they all go.

BK said on B&B the summer following the OU incedent, that it was a chance at a dream job and that he would revisit it some day.

To me, this coaching staff has been done for some time. Out of loyalty for all they have accomplished here, is why there haven't been any changes forced.

I say we make the move now and not let them make the timing of the decission for us. That time is at the end of this season!

The debate here is ... ummm ... entertaining.

Maybe the poll should include Soggy Burrito, too. As soon as he stops winning and Gene has a season or two to pass Garrido's win total, Gene will retire. Situation resolved.

Isn't that what this site is for "entertainment". It's not like it has any impact on anything.

Of course I'd rather see arguments and debates of whether WSU really deserved it's top 15 ranking or not and whether they were going to host a super regional but I guess you make due with what what you got.

I didn't say I don't like being entertained. The most entertaining part is the debate skills, or lack thereof, of some posters.

I wasn't criticizing just agreeing that it was entertaining.
