I may have to fire up a "Should Krusty retire thread?" real soon.

      Is that a school record?

On the positive side we did increase our hit production by 50% over the Nebraska game!

I don't know, but I'd say Cooper's not getting enough run support, for certain. :noidea:

Inexcusable. At some point the players have to respond. There are some coaching issues, but 22 straight with no runs is on the players. Serious funk.

Gene doesn't seem to have any answers. I'm not sure there are any answers -- just more and more and more questions.

Maybe we should ditch the DH and let the pitchers hit.

I remember a long time ago in a galaxy far far away when the shox took pride in never being shut out. Now we are talking about back to back shutouts.

Oh well they gave it there best and that is all that matters. They are all winners. Rah rah boom sis boom go team go.

Tell that to the Sunshine Club.

Speaking of sunshine, where are all the sunshine pumpers at?

This team sucks. Period. 5 hits in 18 innings of baseball. Garbage baseball IQ. Great performance by Cooper wasted.

Oh where oh where are the sunshiners at? I wanna see them rationalize this sh*t.

It's apparent changes need to be made.

Well we did find a way to eliminate all the pop-ups and lazy flies that we had against Nebraska. Just don't make contact at all - 12 K's.

CL's MRI came back negative. We have to have CL 100% back by MVC Tournament time.

Doesn't mean much when we can't score a friggen run. How EMBARRASSING.

That's true but we can't really be this bad offensively plus we seem to hit much better at home and we host the MVC Tournament again this year.

Odds are that the regular season really does not mean all that much this year with the MVC looking more and more like a 1 bid league this year. Getting CL back to full strength obviously gives us a much better shot at winning the MVC Tournament.

I believe the sunshiners are hoping that tonight was Indy State ace having a game of his life and the ship will be quickly righted over the next 2 games.

Hey, this team is breaking new records alll the time - something for the sunshiners to be proud about - The last time The Shockers lost back-to-back shutouts was 1987! - this courtesy of the Indy State fans.

Tonights loss drops WSU two games behind ISU(R) in the lost column and 1 in the win column (i.e. 1.5 games behind).

BTW, supposedly the Indy State pitcher was throwing 96-97. Last 2 weeks we are seeing MVC teams with players with better raw talent than the Shocker pitching staff.

Did the coaching staff just think they have "arrived" after they went to OU now they didn't need to recruit anymore because everybody would be flocking to them?

I was mad and insulted when Oklahoma announced they were terminating the series with us because they wanted to play higher RPi teams. Now I give them credit for seeing the writing on the wall when I didn't.
