The Flynn Question?

This question was posed at today game as we watched the bullpen ignite the Ugly Dawg offense with their usual can of gasoline.

Assuming Brian Flynn become eligible does Gene activate him after the end of the semester. Or does he look at this season more as a lost cause and hope he can save Flynn eligibly and he doesn't get drafted?


Second, maybe Gene should approach Exxon to pony up some $$$$ to sponsor "The trip to the bullpen". They can show gas (with Exxon logo) on the screen pouring gas on the fire?

Can they do this?I don't know the rules but I was under the assumption he was not available for the whole season.Man,could we use his power arm in the back end.

Williams first year after he transferred from AU he was ineligible until the end of the year. There was talk of taking the red shirt off and playing him in the Valley tourney and NCAA...

I believe they can (though I don't claim to be an expert, though I have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express).

Finals start May 12 and semester ends on May 18. So if he passes his classes (which may be a big leap in faith) he could be available to play in the MSU or Dallas Baptist Series before the MVC tournament depending on what the exact process is of getting his grades posted.
