I hate Stillwater. I've had the "pleasure" of attending college football and baseball games in that town and it's probably the worst sports watching experience I've ever had. Pistol Pete annoys the heck out of me too. Also, all the orange hurts my head.

Beats the hell out of Norman. After following us to most of the recent road regionals, I can safely state there is no bigger cluster of pricks in the midwest than at that school.

On the contrary, I found the OSU folks to be extremely hospitable at the 2008 regional. Knew their baseball much better than the 'tards in Sooner Park Trailer Community.

Yeah but we have had some great memories there. I still enjoy watching Clint's grand slam in the 2008 regional championship game on youtube.

And who can forget the incredible feeling when we beat the #1 ranked team in the country on their home field to get to Omaha in 1988.

Agreed. Stillwater has to be the most unappealing town in the central US that's home to a D1 university. I know most of us like to poke fun at Manhattan for it's craptasticness, but Stoolwater has it beat in spades. It holds the notable distinction for being one of the few places that actually makes me happy to get back home to Wichita - rather than depressed.

Besides a couple of kids screaming "GO NOLES!" repeatedly after we won, I didn't really interact with the OSU crowd too much.
