Excellent news for Nate. He gets to move to a warm, cavernous NL ballpark where he is guaranteed a job as a starter. Had he remained in Detroit, it is almost certain he was going to occupy the role of middle relief again.

Hopefully he can stay healthy.

Nate had a good first outing with the Marlins. Got the win, 3-1, pitching 5 innings allowing only 1 run, 4 SO, no walks.
