Next year, before saying how great the team is, you should wait until after the team plays three series against good opponents. So for this year, you can say how good the Shox are after this series against Arizona. 8)

Just back home from the game. It was an ugly game to watch. Bet Gene is going to be chewing some rear after that.

Too high with the "highs" and too low with the "lows." Our fan base is so bi-polar. It's a long season; try to stay on a somewhat even keel.

We aren't world beaters, but we aren't crap either. Maybe we are crap beaters? :D

Uh, every fanbase is like that. Nice try though.

Again, I'll say the same thing as I did with the basketball team. Maybe if our team didn't act so bipolar it wouldn't rub off on the fanbase.

It could easily be the opposite tommorow. Several of the Cats players last year were more into partying than putting out the effort in practise or making it to class. Lopez was quite angry about it and those players aren't back this year. He brought in a lot of freshmen. Most of the time half of the players in the game are freshmen. It's going to be real up and down this year for the Cats, but in a year or two the Cats should be really good.

This is just great, KU and KSU make the top 25, and we slip out of the top 25.

I'm glad that we are affiliated with the MVC. As it appears, like last year, it will be our meal ticket to postseason play. IMO, Gene is going to keep TK in the midweek slot. We face a lot of good non-con teams during the midweek and he knows we need to win these games as the MVC slate will not do us any favors.
Creighton is quietly off to a decent start.

Great, so we got our ass handed to us by a bunch of freshman refill players on an inexperienced team who has yet to peak. That makes me feel better.

After a decade, I think it is safe to say that this is Shocker Baseball. :(

Yesterday they weren't playing like freshmen. Today they might. That's what I was saying.

If TK comes out throwing darts tonight and we somehow salvage a win, this road trip will merely be disappointing (as opposed to a disaster if we lose this evening).

Hardly cause for celebration, but cause enough for some on here to back away from the ledge.
