We are on the extreme southern end of the definition of a "northern" team.

Below are avg temps in March. Fayetteville aint a whole lot warmer than Wichita.

I have always wondered why WSU in a northern team and Arkansas is a southern team. Conference affiliation maybe?

You confirmed what I thought all along about temps. I have family that lives near Fayetteville, and they usually have the same weather types we are having. 2 degrees cooler on the high side and 4 on the low side sure doesn't change much in my mind. Now Lincoln on the other hand is cold.

And we had 29 home games (not counting post-season) last year. We are increasing that the next two years, but we wouldn't be doing that without the start date change.
