  • Looking ahead to May...

...and warmer weather (it was 16 degrees in Omaha today), I'd like to organize something for the Shockers' second to last trip to Rosenblatt before they tear 'er down. Game times for the Creighton series are noon on Friday and Saturday at the 'Blatt (May 7th & 8th). Is anyone tentatively planning on making the trip up for this series? If we have a large enough contingency, I may contact the baseball office to see if they're interested in organizing something a little more formal. Then again, do any of you Wichitans know if a trip of sorts is already planned?

It's here... Friday... and a series with my nemesis. Did anyone make the trip up? I'll be at the ballpark for Game 1, but heading south for the weekend.

    Go Shox!

What does "SPE" represent? Is it a program at WSU of some sort?

I think Fever is the only guy on here who recognizes this fact.

I have a couple of good memories of the Sig Ep house.

One is climbing to their roof (it was easy) and placing their garden house down the chimney and turning the water on.

Second was placing a couple of very large steamy growlers on their front porch.

If you don't know what a steamy growler is, just think for a moment.
