Who the F would start a rumor about a billboard? I'm sure it's probably true.

And now I have my candidate for "Thread of the Year." Genius. :D
“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'

Perhaps they have a relative that plays for the team, and before driving up from OK to take a picture (for whatever reason), they want to be sure it exists.
Lighten up on the guy and show a little class.

RoadShocker: I don't live in Wichita, or I would personally drive out to that intersection and check for you. You might want to call the baseball office and inquire. Good luck.

Every year, there are several WSU baseball billboards around town throughout the spring. Afterall, it is kinda a big deal around here.

If it's important to you, RoadShocker, next time I see one I'll take a picture and post it for you.

Just got into work, it's about 1/2 mile (just east of the turnpike overpass) east of hydralic on 47th st south. North side of the road, facing the west.

Hopefully it's understood I was simply joking about billboards and rumors....

I pass a Shocker Baseball billboard every day on Seneca by the railroad tracks near Stillwell (just north of Harry St.). :wsu_posters:
