    What and what?

Bennett must have improved A LOT since last season. In '09 he went BA .338 OBP .391. SLG .490. Take a look at the 2008 Shocker stats - there were 7 Shox hitters with those caliber hitting stats or better, much better.

JT as a head coach is laughable. He might have the most experience of any assistant coach ... but head coach?

    Hmmm.

Well, more experience than anyone but our other assistant coach.

Yes 2008 stats, why not take a look at 2009 stats, lol. Besides you probably wanna name somebody from the team you have picked to beat, just saying.

Please note most jucos make a big leap from junior to senior season. i.e. Andy Dirks .320 4hrs to .370 something (maybe higher, can't recall) and 11 bombs if i remember right. Nick Blasi is another good example. Both came in as really good juco hitters, did well but not great junior years, then had very good seasons senior year.

I think Bennet will be a very good hitter for the shox this year. He had very good numbers in juco and then hit .338 first year of D1.

          Made me go Hmmm also.

McKeever would be my choice as best pure hitter. If Tyler Grimes has a typical frosh to soph type improvement he might be in the running. Dark horse would be Ryan Jones (I expect him to have a really good year since there is no pressure on him).
