  • Can you taste it?

I was out at Larry Bud's throwing some darts and drove by The Eck on my way home and I thought to myself "a few more weeks..."

Then I realized that I'll be watching game #1 up at KU in 8 freaking days!

But then I remembered nothing at home until the 2nd of March.

    Still ... 8 more days!

Tastes like a popsicle right now.

Extended forecast for Lawrence, KS, Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 37.

Doesn't mean shat this far out, but honestly, what is the point of scheduling a game in Kansas in February???

Roll of the die. If NCAA would start baseball like it should be played there wouldn't be this problem.

Historically late February isn't that brutal for Kansas. Since 2004, 54% of the days in February have a high of >50 degress. The last week of February has average around 54 degrees (high of 78 and low-high of 22) with 47% of those days above 60.

Of course this year it looks like it will be on the below average side.
