Nate Goro

Kemnitz said today that Goro was going to play third and would be a "household name" very soon. Has anyone else seen him play? Where does that put Coy? additionally, does this years roster seem extremely deep or is it just me?

I observed Nate's play during fall ball and was very impressed. As a freshman, he did not appear to be itimidated playing against high level D-1 teammates. I agree with Coach K (if he is healthy) he will be a contributor in 2010.

I would like to clarify one point. I thought Coach K said he "is" a third baseman and not "will be the" third baseman? I could very mistaken as I have been judged to have selective hearing by the spouse.

And YES I agree--I believe WSU will be very deep in talent next season.

He in fact did say that he is "a" third baseman and not "the" third baseman. He also said that he would be a household name eventually and not "very soon".
