What a stretch in mid March, @ Long Beach State, @ Arizona, Washington State @ home and then @ Oral Roberts.

This is a really good schedule for 2010.

Not only does the LBSU, Ariiz., and Wash. St. look tough, but there are some less recognizable names that were pretty good last season.

Home series vs. San Jose State , Florida Gulf Coast, and Dallas Baptist should be good if they are as good in '10 as they were in '09.

It doesn't look like there are any real RPI killers other than the dregs of the MVC.

      Code:
      Team '09 RPI
      Dallas Baptist 42
      Florida Gulf Coast 43
      Washington State 45
      Arizona 61
      San Jose State 75
      Long Beach State 116

... oh and TWO good weekend home series after the weather is more likely to warm-up. San Jose St. in late April and Dallas Baptist in May.

Thank you Northern Iowa for dropping baseball.

It is very weird not to see OU on the schedule. But since we are no longer high RPI competition for them I guess it is their gain and our loss?

I guess 3 hours is just too long a drive for a sooner. At least we have a lot of other good teams on our schedule.

Another 1992 would be great. If I remember right it was like 60 degrees for the home opener and we had decent weather for pretty much the whole season (at least for the home games).

How can you remember the weather in 1992?

I just got my (first) renewal notice (for baseball season tickets.) It says payment is due by September 15, 2009. I guess I'm really late.

Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.
