Well, do you guys think Wedge is going to get canned? Shapiro wants to keep him, all the fans seem to hate him.

The Indians seemed so close just a few years ago. They have some good players but the club and the entire organization seem to be a disaster.

It's hard to say. One side says that recent injuries to Travis Hafner and Grady Sizemore hurts and no fault should be directed toward Wedge for that. It's not Wedge's fault for the team not retaining CC either.

The Kerry Wood disaster could be to blame and the Indians have not turned the corner. Come close but not quite during Wedge's tenure. He may turn out to be another Jim Tracy.

Also last year traded CC for LaPorta who is in AAA.

CC is (well was) good for another 15-20 wins.

Whether they traded CC last year or not, he would not be playing for the Indians this year. At least they have prospects like LaPorta, instead of nothing.

Agree-and I think LaPorta will be great, but not this year when they could use a bat
