I think OU has its plate full in trying to take 2 in row from the Hogs.

Texas was forced into a 9th inning come-from-behind win to survive against the 4 seed. This, just two years away from losing at home to UC-Irvine.

It looks to me like KU, Ohio State, OK State, and OU were the punching bags.

I say that a 25 inning game exhausts your club, emotionally and physically and depletes your pitching.

Army was lucky to play teams that had gone 25 straight innings...otherwise..it probably wouldn't be the same.

Any #4 seed in a similar situation would look better than would be normal.

I think it is relevant, but I am not sure it proves things one way or another. I will admit that the ACC, SEC, and Big 12 have done better than what I would have thought. I think it is interesting that Baylor and Oklahoma State actually did pretty well compared to some other Big 12 teams that got in. The Big 12 actually under-performed quite a bit.
