Let's be honest; KC loves the Shocks as much as any of us. I can understand his point of view; it's much easier on a fan to be pessimistic and expect to lose (while REALLY hoping to win) than to be optimism and feel the pain of each disappointment. I actually adopt KC's point of view when it comes to Shocker women's basketball.

Of course, I might be wrong. KC might be Arthur Schopenhauer. :D

If you followed WSU women's basketball, could you understand it (applied to WBB)?

ADDED: When you hear that the women's basketball team under Jane spent an hour of practice time each day as a "voluntary" prayer session, did it make you think she was paid to be a basketball coach or a minister? Did you expect the WBB team to improve by not practicing?

I can definitely understand KC's viewpoints on some things regarding homerism and realism. He's ok in my book with that.
