MVC Tournament - Day 3

Clubb in the game? I was going to vote for 21-20 Creighton, because I think MSU is a better team. Now, though, I'm thinking go Bears, and bring on the secondary pitching or tired main man -- which I would not put past them to do -- tomorrow.

Of course, all this presupposes that the Shocks win tonight, and as much faith as I have in them, this year's team is clearly in enough doo-doo that a win tonight is robable but no lock. Still, the more the other two mess each other up, the better.

Update: After a strikeout, Creighton takes the lead 7-5 after a 2 rbi single. Runner still on 3rd.

Come on double play, with two outs? A little overenthusiastic there, twister? Still plenty of time for MSU to rally and reach my 18-inning goal, but if Creighton ends up on top, that's okay too. If you have to pick your opponent -- and again, let's make the Shocks are even in the game tomorrow first -- it's always better to play the sweepee than the sweeper.

Lol, you caught me before I edited it. I hit the wrong key. Before the strikeout there was only 1 out with bases loaded.

Anyways, Missouri State has the leadoff batter on since he got beaned. 1 out now with Torrente (pinch hitter) striking out. Missouri State has a single & runners on the corners with 1 out. RBI single scores 1, but with 2 outs MSU has runners on 2nd & 3rd.

Of course WSU has to win tonight and actually show up for tomorrows game.
